Quick fix for when you have unexpected visitors…..

Always have a laundry basket or a storage container either in the garage or laundry.

When you get that call that mum and dad, family friends, work mates etc are on their way over for a coffee, don’t panic! Grab the laundry basket or storage container and work your way around the main area of the house.and pick up all the bits that aren’t meant to be there and pop them in the box.

Then put them away in the laundry, garage, or spare room where your visitors are unlikely to go.

Enjoy your time with your guests and when they have gone, instead of sitting down straight away, get the basket or container and put everything into the room where it belongs and tidy it up. That way you will have sorted a lot of the little things that get left lying around the house back to their rightful home.

A small but useful tip for the odd occasion when you may otherwise, have been caught out.
